He probably got in an accident when his worn down stockers failed somehow...the moral of this story is to buy ceramic pads and cross-drilled/slotted rotors and call it a day. Or buy the Wilwood kit and some SRT knuckles...
I paid $90 for front/rear ceramic pads, and $210 for front/rer cross-drilled/slotted rotors...the Wilwood big brake kit will cost around $1,000, and the SRT-4 knuckles and related parts for the conversion will cost between $200-$400.
So for my little brake upgrade, which i think are far better than stock brakes, cost $300...but since you dont have 4-wheel disc, it will cost only around $200 probably.
