Lets say for example you have the same setup i am putting together, and you decide to jump up to a 16g turbo or .50 trim once the bottom end is built...You would need to get a bigger FMIC, larger fuel injectors, and you would need to go with MS for sure because i doubt a RRFPR would be able to handle the fuel pressure and regulation of it with much higher boost. Now you would also need a new clutch, because the PT clutch will not hold more than 300whp...thats all i can think of at the moment, but i think i missed something...

Yeah do the MTX swap as soon as possible, because the ATX tranny cant hold very much HP...or better yet, save all the money your going to use on the MTX swap, building your internals, the turbo and fuel suystems, and buy a wrecked SRT-4 then do a complete engine/tranny swap!

Well at 8-10psi on stock internals you should be pretty close to SRT-4 stock specs, its just easier to upgrade the 2.4l when they have the stage kits all nice and ready for you...in all honesty, if i had $5k-$6k just sitting in my checking account i would have gone the SRT-4 swap, but when your operating on a "budget" you have to learn to settle with what you can get. It may sound stupid, but i will take pride in the fact that i built a custom, turbocharged 2.0l Neon that i spent my time and money on...

are there any strong manual transmissions that will bolt onto a 2.0L but can handle a lot of horsepower?

The stock tranny should have no problems holding anything you throw at it...the only possible thing that could happen is if the differential pin heats up A LOT and puncture through the transmission housing, but i believe the simple solution to that is make a bracket to stop it from breaking through or you can weld it in (i dont know the process to weld it in, but that is the worst case and it probably rarely ever happens, and only if you pushing major WHP and WTQ).
