would a srt-4 strut bar fit into a 03 neon or is the base different?

 

i think it might not fit because the hood on a srt4 is slightly higher and its made for that, but the rear one should fit

 

I've been told that in order to make them fit you need to drill new holes/enlarge existing holes, but once again i've only heard it.

 

The only problem i'm aware of is with clearance issues...the SRT-4 hood is slightly taller than a stock Neon hood, but just tall enough to allow a larger/taller strut bar.

 

it will work fine my friend did it on his just u do have to enlarge the holes to mount to thr struts

 

mine all fit without a single problem. I didnt have to drill any holes. They are just really picky about how they seat up with the struts. Mine, seemed like a Peice... until they fell into place. They fit with my hood as well. It presses on the rubber part on the hood sligtly, but it still fits and doesnt effect the hood at all.

Its a good buy. You'll feel a big difference on how the car handled.
