Anyone know if a SRT4 hood is compatible with a 2000 neon hood and if A SRT-4 hood could be made to fit my 2000 neon?

One other question, does anyone know where I can find or order a SRT4 hood? so far I haven't had any luck finding any

 

an SRT-4 hood will fit but only if you install a new nose from either a 2003+ or SRT-4. It wont look very clean with the 2003+ SXT, SE models becuase the SRT-4 nose is a bit different, and the hood has a slight point in the middle of the hood, vs the regular neons have a fairly rounded hood.

So, when you put it on, you will have a slight over-hang from the hood. I believe i can find a post with pictures. I will edit this post once i find it.

either way, you will need a new front end before you can install it.

 

so are they exactly the same or will I need to do extra work b/c I thought I saw a 2000-2002 neon with a SRT4 hood on it with no front end modification?!?!?

The SRT-4 hood will fit with no problem, nothing will interfere with the hood, you dont need a different bumper or anything. I've seen several 00-02 with SRT-4 hoods, an they still had stock bumper and headlights.
