Default Parts for an SRT 4 TURBO

Ok, I have an 02 Neon and yes it's an auto, and yeah I know most of you guys will say why get a turbo for an auto, but I kinda want to be the fastest Auto Neon in MIAMI. I would like to start with the stock SRT4 Turbo instead of an aftermarket that would run 2Gs. I know I need..
Turbo
Exhaust Manifold
BOV
Intercooler

um thats basically my knowledge as far as turbos, I know a lil more but dont really wanna embarres myself anymore. I know I would also need a computer and blah blah blah
Will the SRT4 Turbo be str8 pult on to the 2.0, will i notiece a diff when im auto
ANYONE WITH KNOWLEDGE, GIVE ME A LIST OF WHAT ILL NEED TO DO AND HOW MUCH OF A DIFF IT WILL BE. REASON BEEN, I GOT MY BUDDIES WRECKED SRT4

best to swap entire engine as one piece, along with most of the electrical system. It seems like more work to most people, but in fact it's way easier. Swap trannys also or you'll have trouble with computer. You'll need to ask someone else but an auto pt cruiser gt computer may work if you want the auto trans believe they're the same.

it will be, i heard of that, cuz it wont release the pressure like a manual, well my main idea was to swap eng/trani with the 2.4 turbo engine and auto engine from the pt cruiser like u said, i heard is a perfect swap, its the same engine as the srt4 but just auto. just very expensive, i got one thousand dollars and dats its, from my scholarship lol

I disagree the trans will hold up for a while even though it's the famous 4-speed, obviously it's lifespan will be shorter, add an extra tranny cooler, and you'll be surprised.

If they can get an auto tranny to hold up in a car that runs 4.5 second quarter miles, I don't foresee any major issues with using the auto tranny on the SRT-4 engine. Yes, the SRT-4 engine will put out more power than the PT Cruiser engine did, but everything is always over-engineered to leave a generous margin of error.

it will not blow because it is an atx. it might make less power but that is it.

i heard automatic dont lose spool like manual do, but that i have to be careful cuz if i just floor it ill blow the turbo cuz the BOV wont work the same way cuz it wont half the split seconds u shift in a manual to let the pressure out, true?

The blow-off valve and transmission don't really affect each other in any way. In an ATX when you're just holding it at WOT, the blow-off valve doesn't need to open, because all the pressure is going into the engine, therefore you aren't losing spool. The only reason you ever lose spool is when you close the throttle, and don't have a BOV. Therefore ATX or MTX won't make a difference on your turbo's functioning. The only noticeable thing might be more wear on your engine for the split second it is free-wheeling with the ATX. A similar effect to what would happen if you shifted your MTX without letting off the throttle. I'm talking extremely small amounts of extra wear.

To sum it all up, ATX or MTX, it doesn't matter.
