WHY the MPG so LOW!!! ONLY 21mpg!
i expect it at least 27mpg mix with local and freeway.
i purchase the car last week and i test on my 1st tank of gas.....ONLY get 21mpg with 50% local and 50% freeway. SO LOW!
it's a 2000 plymouth NEON lx.
how about ur NEON? how's the mpg? tell me!
i get rid of my stratus b/c it eats gas like the V6 (it's a I4), and i changed to NEON........but.......also eats gas so much! OMG!!!
how to improve the mpg? beside fuel improver bottle, changing spark plug/wire, fuel filter, air filter......
wut else i can do for my NEON about he MPG?
thx for ur info...!!!!!

Some of the best ways to increase fuel mileage is to increase power. Get a set of MSD Super Conductor plug wires, new plain copper core plugs or iridium plugs, K & N CAI, Mobil 1 synthetic oil and a cat-back exhaust and run 89 or higher octane and you will notice not only a power increase, but your fuel mileage will go up as well. Changing your transmission fluid to a fully synthetic fluid will also help out with power, fuel mileage, operating temperatures and wear reduction. My '99 Neon R/T got mid-high 30 MPG's and it had all the Mopar Performance parts on it. My '04 SRT-4 is factory rated at 22 MPG city and 30 MPG highway, but because I have the mods I recommended I got 32.5 MPG on the highway.
