Default manifold Q.

being is the indy intake manifold from what i've heard is junk what options do i have to get more out of my stock manifold since it seems the rt manifold is like finding a fat person in china? Any suggestions not super expensive and maybe could do myself?I'm gonnna put 60mm throttle body on and i wanna get everything out of it I CAN.


Also wanna put a cam in and cant decide wich would be better Crane #10 or 12 my mods are listed in my signature. thanks a lot everyone here has been a great help and i'm glad everyone helps the others out.

if your choosing from those 2 cams then i would get the 12
port and polish your intake

well im not sure how much you can port and polist a plastic manifold but anyway i heard that the indy is great and the only problems is that you have to make your own gasket which isnt really all that hard and use longer bolts.

i tryed porting my plastic intake, it worked but i do not think it is worth the time and affort, i am looking into a intake manifold as well i would like to know where i could get one fairly inexpensive but i have found that nothing is really all that inexpensive when you are building a turboed neon....lol good luck
