whats considered a decent price to change the tire rods. i was told my right tire is loose so i figured i might as well just change both tire rods.

so far i was given a rate of over $300 by good year. then a japenese mechanic told me $230 for parts and labor and then my regular hispanic mechanic told me he would do both sides for $200 parts and labor.

 

if you can, DIY!!!! but your doing right already by comparing rates. just b concerned about the very lowest prices, as they may be cutting corners on the quality of parts. i would suggest asking for just labor charges if you bought your own parts.
