found a fresh water flood 2" on the floor, all carpet replaced and seats..pressure washed and cleaned out.. all electronics replaced and tested, and brakes ect..02 sxt 51xxx miles.. worth 4995??? 30 day warranty,,

 

It's got new carpet, seats electronics and brakes. There's really nothing to worry about, and the mileage isn't bad. I don't see why not.

 

There is a reason your insurance company will TOTAL a flood car. They do not want to keep paying for related repairs.

Save yourself the agony and find another car.

 

i would wait to find something else, even though the electrical system has been checked is does not mean all the electronics will last a long time, find another car because you will dump alot of money into it

 

Don't buy it!! We have six flood damaged cars at my collage and they are a nightmare!! Every time we fix one thing a day later and the wires are letting the smoke out some where else in the cars they weren't flooded bad just enough to miss it. You do what you want but I would never buy it!!

 

ok so the electronics were replaced and interior......did any water get in the motor????? if even a little water gets in the motor it can sieze up, or cause all the bearings to go out......find out about that

 

people realx it has a 30 day warrenty, i say talk them down then take it and drive it around and if anything happens take it back

 

it was sold b4 i even left town to see it... maybe a good thing.. nice hood!

 

I'd buy mine for $1500 more and get twice the power and torque....

 

Flooded cars are great.....

as long as the battery was discharged or unhooked at the time....
otherwise, I wouldnt go near it with a gun to my back!!.
