ive heard of many good stories about ebay intakes, but also some bad ones. in a sense, you do get what you pay for. the aluminum on this might not be as heat-resistant and may heat air as it goes into the engine, also theres probably no mounting hardware and no place for your iat but both of those are easily fixable

 

its a peice of **** intake, and i wouldnt waste my money on it

 

I bought one for my 01 neon just because at the time i didnt car about the car and i just wanted to try one out, i paid 40$ for it. Actually I was extremly impressed with how easy it was to install, it fit perfectly and added alot snap and great sound, the only thing.... The filter was JUNK! The mesh on it rusted up and i couldnt even run my car because it couldnt suck in any air, so i just threw a K&N on there with the same ebay aluminum and it works great. But i'm sure that cant be said for all ebay intakes.... Its up to you
