Tach hook up...
Ok I have a couple of questions for the infinite wisdom of the forum people.....
numero Uno: I am hooking up a tach for my "tach-less" SE and I decided to put it on the A-Pillar with one of those 2 1/16in. guages. ok so how do I lift up the top of the dash to run the wires to the adapter coming from the ignition wire?
and second: To fill the other hole in the A-pillar guage pod I figured I'd throw in a voltimeter cuz I think it'd be interesting how my sound system affects the alt. So for the voltimeter do I just hook it up to the positive lead from the batt? or will there be some kind of instructions when I get the guages? I am going for the mopar ones off modern performance. thanks to all that lend their wisdom!

The dash is just 2 skrews on each side of the dash, then just pull it up.
As for the volt meter, here is what i found....
the voltmeter is best directly to the battery, pos. and neg., but it can also be hooked up to the ignition wire in your dash. If you are worried about you alt. being overloaded you want an ammeter (amp meter) whitch is pretty much a pain to hook up but i belive it goes inbetween the alt and the battery to measure the amount of charge to the battery.
hope this helps!!

..on the dash, there are the 2 screws on the sides..there are also 2 screws in the defroster opening up next to the windshield... a "stubby" philipps screwdriver will do the job on those, out and in
