Has anyone here ever changed a fuel filter on a dodge neon if so is it pretty easy?

 

well when i went to buy one, for an 01 es 5spd neon, they told me that my fuel filter is non serviceable... I dont know about yours.

 

The reason that the fuel filter says non-servicable is because it is part of the fuel pump. the fuel pump i believe is inside the gastank on neons. i wanted to get mine changed out, and i was told that i would have to replace the entire pump. If anyone has a good idea of what it would cost to replace the pump, let us know.

 

i found a pump from a totlaed neon for about 100 bucks. i Think the daler wants a few hundred for it. Yeah it is in the tank, it is a pretty darn big hunk of plastic. i will try and find a pic and post it.
