Deleting any emission parts is illegal if the car is ran on the street! Did you do it or did a shop do it for you?

I still have the cat on, just no muffler. its odd though, cus i have neon lights on my car and i drive with them on all the time and i dont get any negative attention from the cops. Once i was speeding down the highway as double the limit and a cop saw me and didnt so a thing about it, the cops around where i live are retarded

You still have backpressure because you have a cat. Driving with neons on is asking for attention, even if it is legal to do so in your state. So anything that is illegal on your car is going to stick out like a sore thumb. Taking the muffler off is not going to make it any faster really, just louder. Louder does not mean faster....

nope it will sound like absolute crap because you will have no back pressure all up to a certain point where its not meant o handle that pressure. for better sound you can get a magnaflow muffler or something

Why the heck is everyone taking off or hollowing out their cats? Why not go to a high flow cat and a performance exhaust? Do you know that relocating the cat is illegal any work done that is not OEM is illegal for the street! How are you guys getting through your inspections?
