Default Hood/back seat problems

First off I'd like to say that I am not a car person at all. I am a 17 yr old high school senior that just happened to realize that her battery died during school so the keyless entry wouldnt work and unfortunately my brother had a slight run in with an 18 wheeler and when the drivers side door was replaced, they didnt reconnect the lock so the key is absolutely worthless in my case. I was wondering if there is any way that one would be able to open the hood from the outside or possibly if you know of any ways to kick down the seats in the back. Thank you!

Why don't you go in the right door to pop the hood

oooo ouch that sux umm i would say they you might be able to slim jim it, but i don't believe you can get in from the back with the seats, you you might have to just buy a new window sorry

on another note, you should probably go to the place where it was fixed and they didnt connect the lock because they didn't do the job right and see if maybe they can help or possibly pay for a new window for you

I was bored one day and broke into my 2003 in under 4 minutes... although i don't think it would be appropriate to post on a public forum.

you could always leave the window down and go in and out of the drivers side window! (nascar style)

i would not breack you window use a flathead screwdriver in the door seal and a rod to push the lock. theres no way to get under the hood from the outside without doing damage to the car.

yea and then the flathead will bend the door and you will never be able to fix it or seal it right again and you will have a permanent water leak. i would break a window

On the inner side of the Neon is a rod that connects to the unlocking latch thingy...if you can figure out how to pull that sucker forwards towards the hood end it'll unlock the door and open it.

I'd probably call a locksmith...don't remember if Neons had an emergency disengage to come in thru the trunk?

if they never hooked that rod than that may not work she said that they never connected the lock so I was going with the best way I could feel and unless you pull the hel out if it you wount bend the door.
