Default Spring ?

What is the diff. between the stx springs & the ones on a srt-4? Do the srt-4 springs have a higher/lower spring rate? Thanks, JIM.

i believe you mean the sxt. i think the srt4 will raise the sxt slightly because the srt4 is heavier and has springs to compensate. or it might be the other way around. i think weight difference is the key to the difference in springs though

Yea, that's what I mean. Would it be worth swapping them out? Would the srt4 spring help in the handling department or just make the ride harsher? JIM.

Nope...while the SRT-4 does weigh 200-300lb's more than a 2.0 Neon the SRT-4 springs will still lower a regular Neon roughly .25"-.50" front/.50"-.75" rear...it has to do with the fact that on a SRT-4 the spring perches are higher on the strut, meaning the springs are literally shorter...so when you put these shorter springs on the SXT struts (which has a lower spring perch) you get a slightly lowered ride. Its hard to notice though so unless your getting them for free i wouldnt bother...just spend the $200 and get some very nice quality Eibach's.

As for ride harshness and handling, the ride should be near stock since the amount your lowering would be near minimal...same goes for the added handling, while it will be an improvement, it wont be much...but still better than stock.
