Default Front Bumper Weight???

I bought a front bumper online and i finally got the tracking number today. When i tracked it, it said, "item weight" 7lbs. is it just me or does that seem to light? I mean, i went to school for autobody and i seem to remember bumpers weighing more then that, you would think that the box alone that it would take to ship that in would wiegh close to 7lbs...

Is it the bumper rebar or just the urathane bumper cover? I mean those things are bloody light....I mean a bumper cover and box for a ford superduty doesnt weigh much more than 10 lbs so i could see that as being about right...... What year are you for autobody?

its just the bumper cover, so yea i guess it could be that light, it just seems heavier i spose because its so large. I took 3 years of autobody at ridgewater college in willmar MN. Now i sit at a desk all day doing graphic design for way more money that even a veteran body man would make.

some times places get better rates on shiping if they have contracts or enter there own lbs light so you dont have to pay as much. ups dosent care becouse the company probably ship alot through them.
