I understand. I'll try and report my findings once I get it to the shop. I have a very reliable mechanic. Guess I'll be using the pickup for awhile. Hopefully it's something minor, Thanks fullbuilt for your help.

 

The Neon went into the garage this past friday, had a transmisson fluid leak (loose fitting, repaired). No evidence of coolant leak. The mechanic told that he's heard of people driving through deep snow and sometimes the snow melts and gives off a green colored tint to the snow, it may come from the discoration of the hot exhaust pipe, hot rad, etc. In any case, there is no evidence of a leak when I park on snow and my coolant level has not gone down. Engine is running smooth and does not exhaust white smoke. What can I say? Thanks to alll for your feedback.
