made the 1000 mile mark on my new engine and took her up to 14psi. love the way it feels got most of the bugs worked out. she still dogs herself from 70 to 100mph. just another 1000 to go.

what did you have done to the bottom end and what are you hoping to run for boost when it is all said and done, i have a turbo set up on my 02 but it is a stock block, just wondered what you had done to it and what you paid for it and where you got the parts from??

 

my blocks a long rod 8.6 full balenced and blueprinted built from the crank up.

where did you get the work done and where did you get the rods, pistons, ect, did you have it bored over, or is it the stock piston size?

 

i got the motor from howell its a standered bore. im hoping to settle in around 24 to 26psi.

the motor ran me a little over 2grand with a new seal set becouse i was running low on alot of stuff. i wanted this motor not to be a daily but at least survive 2 or 3 days of the week.

 

Congrats man, cant wait for the day you get that motor fully broken in and turn up the boost!

Oh and out of curiosity, how long did it take for you to get the motor from Howell?
