Okay haters...lol.....yes those videos were jokes for crying out loud...the races were real...and yeah its a 5-speed so i was trying to hold the camera in one hand with the steering wheel and shift with the other...as for the rx-8...that was strictly a top-end power race...theres no doubt in my mind that i would lose redlight to redlight...the rx-8 was on the interstate and everytime we rolled it was at 80mph or higher...(if ya dont believe me you can try it for yourself and feel good about ur lil neons lol)...but he was behind me flashed me with his brights giving me a headstart..i threw it in 3rd at 80 and punched it...he caught up to my door right going into 4th gear and thats when his car did the thing where hes passing ever-so-slowly and then you both get even nobody pulling ahead..and then i started to pull...were talking 100 + mph i finally started to pull on the rx-8...yeah no doubt he would eat me alive redlight to redlight...all i had at the time was an CAI (mind you these help greatly at 100+ mph lol)

 

oops missed a question...i try to answer all you guys this website is awesome...."bump" means you just type the word "bump" and post it so it bumps the thread back to the top of the page..keeping it a fresh new topic to talk about...

 

perhaps it was an automatic RX8. a guy i work with quickly got rid of his auto RX8 for the manual... HUGE difference. much like our neons are bettwn atx and mtx. additionally, modding is rather expensive forthe mazdaand cheap for our little peons.
