Default Right Center Motor Mount Replacement

Hi I'm new here and would like to ask if anybody could help me decide if I should change out the motor mount that has completly failed causing some really bad vibration while driving. Now that was a mouth full. Ok First question. I'm replacing the motor mount with an after market Anchor OEM part. I've never replaced one before. I have floor jacks, hydrolic jack, and most of the tools. I'm sure I can do most of the replacement stuff. The only thing that I not sure of is adjusting the top and bottom strut motor mounts when I'm done. Has anyone done this before and is it difficult?

I'm not sure i understand this part... If your refering to the tranny mount, then there is no adjustment. Come to think of it, i don't know if there is any adjustment on any mounts.

As far as the tranny mount, its not that difficult. The only PITA is that there is a bunch of stuff in the way. Intake box, battery, battery tray, etc... When i replaced mine, i disconnected the cat from the manifold. Pulled out the already mentioned stuff in the way. Used a wooden block to jack the motor up and down, if needed and that was that.

I can estimate about 1.5 hours if i did it. First time, i would put aside at least 3-4. Just remember where everything goes and you will just fine. ( ziplock bags, masking tape, and a sharpe marker is great to have for loose bolts or sensors)

i wasnt sure myself but if its the other side all you need is an 18mm socket no jack needed. the center bolt will hold it in place.

for all of them just have a jack and a 2x4 under the engine to take the stress off the mount and they only fit in one way

Sorry I didn't say which one I was replacing. Its the center engine mount passenger side. I have to remove the upper and lower strut mounts, power steering box, belts, and the book says I have to adjust the upper and lower stut mounts to a certain measurement, which completely doesn't make sence.

Yes, its referred to as the REAR motor mount. Its on the passenger side wheel well. Theres a plastic pull out inside the wheel well that exposes the bolt that runs through the mount into the engine. I've checked the transmission mount and its fine. I have replaced the upper and lower strut mounts that only have a bolt at each end. The service manual states these struts must be adjusted to spec's after replacement. The only statement for the center mount (REAR) is to make sure its in the exact location as the old mount removed.
