CRACKED EXHAUST MANIFOLD & CLOGGED CAT
MY 2000 DODGE NEON HAS A CRACK IN THE EXHAUST MANIFOLD AND THE PRIMARY CATALATIC CONVERTER IS CLOGGED. I TOOK MY CAR TO A SHOP TO HAVE IT LOOKED AT BECAUSE IT WAS LAGGING POWER. IT WOULDNT GO OVER 30 MPH. THE MECHANIC TOLD ME THAT WAS THE PROBLEM. I AM GOING TO ATTEMPT TO FIX IT MYSELF. DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS BEFORE I DO THIS? AND DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE I CAN BUY A EXHAUST MANIFOLD AND A CAT?
I GOT EVERYTHING OFF. THE EXHAUST MANIFOLD, AND THE PIPE WITH THE CAT ON IT. THE CAT THAT IS WELDED TO THE MANIFOLD, IS BLOWN UP ON THE INSIDE WHICH MESSED UP THE OTHER CAT SO NOW I HAVE TO BUY TWO. DOES THE MANIFOLD COME WITH THE CAT?
no, the exhaust manifold is seperate, i have one for sail if you are interested, i have a pacesetter header and a stock manifold, let me know if you are interested
