Gah, i guess there is just something i need to let off my chest or just to discuss with some people who understand where I am coming from here.

Lately, i have been kind of upset with people bashing on my little car. Especially with this latest dyno, people have been looking down on the poor girl. I know i will see a big boom in power with the parts I am waiting on... but after 3-4 months of waiting... it can do some wonders to your psychi. I mean, every day I check the order and the order status never changes.

I dunno, maybe I would feel better if I knew my car could do even 6 HP better than it did on the dyno last go around.[&:] I guess im just frustrated with howell taking forever to ship everything.

Either way... im upset and I don't really know why, with the people and the lack of parts I have for it. She isn't doing bad for VERY VERY minimal mods... but she should be further along.[8D]

Oh... i guess while im on the topic of performance... I HATE THIS DARN ECONO ECU!!!!![:@][:@][:@][:@] at the dyno, i had 4-5 people ask me if I had considered chipping it.

 

it kinda comes with the car ya know... everybody kinda looks at you when you say you drive a neon( you know the look right, "you drive a neon?" and then the stupid face people make) or maybe it just me. i dunno. and like you said very little mods.(shiet mines still stock) just blow whoever is bashing you outta the water when u get all parts. they wont expect it.

 

dont let them get to you, it will come together for you eventually. heck they still laugh at me. and after you crush them they say its still a neon. but the fact is they got beat by a neon.

 

its reasons like this that i wanted to keep the kinda stock look with my car.....you cant tell there is anything on it until you romp on it

 

Don't let anyone talk down on your neon, just dont pay attention to them.

As for Howell, honestly yeah there a good company but I would NEVER order anything from them, months for shipping, get real, and also they have barley any pictures on there site, so in my book their no good. Next time order from the actual manufacture, like crane, hell you could have even gone threw edelbrock and got it in like a day lol.

Don't worry I know the feeling of no power but it will come eventually, till then just turn up the music and cruise.

 

haha, yea. I like howell... but the wait time to get a part is rediculous. It really does not help when you hang around with people pushing atleast 200-300 more horses. Oh well, it can only get better I suppose.

 

well you can just use my line. "well at least my car doesnt look like ****" lol
