my car has an egsaust leak. it also seems to have aq boost leek. while out of gear and revin it triesa to boost. ps its a 20g not suppose to do that. it makes it to about 7psi then nocks. while driving it makes it to 8psi before giving up its set at 14. the turbo also makes a high pitch wine. what ya think.

well for the nock i would try to adjust timing and are you sure the turbos good i mean like no coking and **** in it. good flow to it shaft play? and for the boost leak i woud get or make a boost leak tester and some sopapy water and go to work

You shouldn't be able to create boost at idle... or barely any if it does. Do you have a wide band? I'm curious to know what your A/F ratios are while you are reving.

This is just a theory, but you could be running pig rich at idle... Have you ever seen the rally cars sit at idle and rev? They blow silly flames out of the tail pipes. The reason they do that is they are creating boost at under 0 load by over fueling the car. The spent or extra fuel is igniting in the manifold causing the turbo to spool.

as mentioned it is just a theory...

did it crack or not seal against the block properly with a gasket? if its a gasket problem ive heard copper gaskets are the **** and you can reuse them 4ever and also silicone is your friend when your pissed and just want it done
