yeah T3/T4 turbo stage 2
Its a hybrid head-unit and I just haven't found any exact prices.

Does around $1000 sound about right?

I also looked into the thumper that puts out 2500hp at the fly (too much if you ask me)

ok then in that case you should go with the srt cutsom kit thingy theres info in the turbo sticky. its basically the cheapest you can do and its about all the motor can take with stock internals i think 03neonRT still has some pieces left from his because he had to sell but he gave great prices so you might wanna buy it from him

T3/T4 hyrbid
this seems to be the middle man in the T3 and T4 models.

I know there is a thread for all this but I find it easier to talk to someone instead of reading it myself.

Which would be a better bet

Just buying the Turbo stand alone and pray nothing breaks ?

Or spring for the kit with the boost controller and blow off valves?

I just looked up the SRT-4 Turbo kit you mentioned and this is what i found

http://www.turbo-kits.com/srt4_turbo_kits.html

Will that fit in a 00-05 SXT?

you need a blow off valve for a turbo or else you will blow yourself up

https://dodgeforum.com/m_540330/tm.htm

thats the srt turbo i was talking about. its not an actual kit its more of a buy your part and put it together yourself thing. you can only run 8lbs ot boost safely on a stock bottom end so anything else and any bigger turbo would be wasting your time and money

t3t4 referers to the size of the bairing. with neons we mostly deal with garrets. if you want t series youll want to get a honda.
