I think it's illegal not to have amber bulbs in sidemarkers in the US.. Well, **** that law, haven't been pulled over yet.

 

i'd be very careful man...

clear corners do look good... but why not PUT amber bulbs in? It is not like they are expensive

 

Well, the clear corners I bought came with an extra pair of amber bulbs. If anything happens, all I gotta do is just swap them.

I'm trying to get the srt4 body kit including hood, headlights and fog lights. The 02 Neon ES fog lights are ugly looking.

 

i have not had ANY markers for about 2 years now, never got pulled over for that, just alot of other stuff..most cops will not realize that they are clear or missing....if mine are gone then i do not think that they should give you a problem

 

I had a bulb out for about the last 3 months and did not get bothered for it. And as far as I know white or amber is legal in my state. I looked it up before I did it. My markers are not blue really, white balance is a little off with my old camera. I'll have to shoot my car with my DSLR.

Some cops dont even care if you have 5% tints all around.

 

i would love to find one of those cops, i would accually tint my windows if they are all allowing 5% all the way around

5%??? Sweet Zombie Son of G**!!!! I would LOVE to find cops that don't harass people for dark tint. I can see a lax cop for a car that isn't riced out or looks like a "race" car. But 5% is rediculous to get off with!!

 

i have never liked window tint, i like the way it looks on some cars, but not all, i am also night blind so that has alot to do with my desition not to tint my windows, but the real reason is that i am making the car this winter "cop friendly"i do not want anything that they can even question about being not legal, my mods are so mild to the exterior of my car most people do not even notice them, the only thing they do see is the hood..... but for the shaving not many people catch on to those mods unless they drive a 00-02 neon.....

 

Ok, I just got the clear corner lenes in. I just snaped a few shots, i'm still waiting to wash the car and get some nice winter outdoor pics and i'm guessing that will happen sometime next week. The install was not hard but a pain kinda because I took the headlights out, which is the way I would suggest people to go b/c once their out you have all the room in the world to work and it goes nice and easy. From start to finish an hour but I go slow and take my time b/c I really have nothing else to do. So here are the pics and just wanted to update you guys again on the progress and I promise I'll get some nice "clean car" pics next week.

Oh and I'm very happy with the results, as I installed the lights I tried the lenses with the clear bulbs vs. the amber and honestly did not like the clear lit up. The amber really does give a nice affect so I am very happy about that b/c that means that it is 100% legal to.
