Default Rear deck speakers

How do you remove the rear deck speakers on a 2005 Neon?

Yeah.I had a hell of a time trying to pull that carpet out.It was in there pretty good.Just pop out the pillars on the left and right and pull the carpet up from the corners. If you have a long flathead screwdriver you can slide it under the carpet and us it for leverage.Just make sure you dont pull up any wires with it

it is all true. You have to take it all out. You also probably should remove the panels by the doors by the rear deck. They just pull off.

Eh... it is a TON of work. You need like a size 55T torx bit I believe to get the seat belts and rear seat assembly completely off! GL!!
