Can my Dodge neon with the mods i have on it beat a 2002 Jetta Vr6?

yeah i wouldnt think so....especially since you dont have alot of performance mods

 

i tell you what, your acr might not be able to beat it in a 1/4 mile but you would own him in an autocross.

 

autocross and road course are great becouse the car dosent matter as much as the driver so i wouldnt say that. but in a strait up drag dont let him shark you into bettin money.

well i am saying that if each car had equal drivers that an acr would most likely win in an autocross

 

I've driven a manual VW GTI VR6, it was pretty quick. Faster then my car for sure. Doubt you'll hang with him.

 

Yeah the Vr6 is a low 15 second car in the 1/4...so stock vs. stock you would loose by a few cars. You would probably be dead even if you had a cam, exhaust, and dumped those heavy srt wheels for some lightweights...but as your car sits you will get eaten alive.

**EDIT** Hold up i was thinking of the GTI VR6, the JETTA VR6 runs a 15.8 in the quarter...the 2nd Gen R/T-ACR runs a 15.9.

So with that said, your both going to be pretty even as it stands...so basically it would be determined by who is the better driver.
