Last night i was drivin to a party, when i slowed down to make a turn my brakes went completly out. the resistance u would usually feel when depressing the brake pedalwas gone. After getting out to see if the was any external damage to brakes (which there wasnt) i got back in and slowly pumped the brakes. The resistance in the brake pedal came back but the brakes did not work. When i put the car into drive i would hear a clicking noise coming from the rear wheels. My guess is the rear drum brakes went out or something but what i dont understand is why isnt the front brakes working either (the front pads were replaced about 3 months ago). Also like an hour b4 that happend i was driving and heard this loud BOOM, i thought i might of hit somethingbuti didn't see any external damage then either.Does any one no wuts going on with my car?

P.S. both me and my car is ok thank...other then the brakes that is god lol

 

you may have burned your power brake pump

 

what exactly does it do and is it easy to replace?

 

i guess your car is not in good condition, especially the power brake pump, you didn't check it before you drove to party.. better replace it with new high quality brakes to keep it from starting and move again.
