rims?
ok i finally got the money to do some stuff to my car and i was wondering what rims would look good on a silver 2005 dodge neon SXT. i was looking into the motegi black rims 17inch but i wanted your guys's opinion.

those are really awesome rims kinda like my motegis but go to www.wheelsnext.com u can choose frome many different styles brands and colors u can get some seventeens with shipping tires mounting balancing and hardware for 800$ good luck!
I agree with Dave/lowslow (oh snap! used a name!) on this one. A set more like the ones he has would look better I think, I am really getting a headache on the rim situation, I mean first I want brushed aluminum ones but I know with my black and blue scheme a set of black rims with a polished lip would pretty much blow you away. I'll probably end up getting both and just swapping them out every once in awhile.

I still kinda like the brushed one a lil bit more, I mean it's just savage, there's no other way to put it.

someone posted a while ago about the spoke pattern....
they said if you have nice rotors and calipers, maybe like slotted and/or drilled rotors..then u may want to show them off with a very open rim, like a 5 spoke...
but if yer just running stock brakes and rotors, u may want to go with a multi-spoke style that would kinda hide the brake parts...
...also, if yer gonna spend that much on tires and wheels, if it was me, I would make sure about the weight on them too.... had heard that some of the cheaper aftermarket rims are heavy, and it would affect performance... so if you've got the money to spend, make sure u get some light ones!

Dont go black. (period). This is my way of seeing things but when i see a car with black rims i just go "ok they have black rims, cool." but when i see someone with brushed silver rims like 04 MO Neon (which are sweet) i go "wow they really make the car look cool and it kinda offsets the color of the car and balances the way it looks"
but again,
thats just my way of seeing things
