OK, I just totaled my 2000 neon last Friday and everything under the hood needs to be replaced except the engine (and right now, I'm still unsure about that). Should I just sell it off piece by piece and buy a new car or try to fix it? And if I fixed it, where could I get good, cheap, replacement parts? Any help or advice you can give me in this matter is greatly appreciated and right now I'm not sure I can afford a new car. (I'm 17 and I have no job and I definitely can't ask my parents for money.) I really loved my neon though and even if I replace it, I'll probably get a new neon. Is anyone selling theirs cheap?

Wow that really stinks. Im sorry to here about the accident but the best bet to find cheap parts would probably be a junkyard. And if you want to find a cheaper neon, look at auctions...Good luck

if you do end up selling or parting out you neon you might want to consider buying a first gen neon. they cost less than the 2nd gen ones.

here's one on the bay... I know it's an auction with still no bids when I posted this, 21 hours left, but is this a typical price?..or maybe the range of 2k with 76k miles?

I have a hood, grill, headlights, and a bumper. From a 2000. But shipping would problably kill ya.
