is it true i can change the head lights and tail lights? cuz then i can get any 2000 and up body kit, PLEASE HELP

 

Been wondering that myself. Be nice to have a few more options for a body kit for my 05

 

all body kits 2000 and up match up their all 2nd gen

 

there is no 3rd generation are you refering to the 03+ models and what year car is in question

 

Mounting wise the 00-05 are the same, but depending what year the kit was made for will determine whether you need to change headlights and taillights.

 

^ perfectly said, some of the body kits do not have the place for the turnsignals in the kit..where some of the kits will do both, but you will have a funny hole where the turnsignal will go......


when i changed my headlights the contour of the 00-02 is accually smoother than the 03+ headlights, so the lines may not work if you got an 02 car for a 03+ neon......

 

hey thanks guys iasked the question about the lights cuz id really like to change my 2001 to the 3rd gen, heydtjackten can u get a better picture of ur conversion maybe my 2001 can get new headlights and i can sorta shave my current 2nd gen bumper

 

There is no 3rd gen. 95-99 = first gen. 00-05 = 2nd gen. Now there is two different bodystyles of 2nd gen. 00-02 and 03-05.

 

oh cool sorry im new, lol well i ment i want to get rid of my first style and get the second style (still dont know if i said that right) but is a simple plug and play process or do i have to rewire sum things, and how gay would it be to have a 01 bumper with 03 tail lights, is the gap going to be big yet noticable
