Default HP?

how much HP do you think i'll get if i put a cold air intake and an exhaust on my 2004 SX RT, do u think it's worth it?

in either case I'd say about 4-6 whp at most.

not a scam at all. Small motors means small gains. But... it all adds up. For example. If your serious about modifications... these are the first bottle necks in any motor. So fixing them up is usually the first thing to do.

Not a scam at all. Later on you'll realize how much it helped

yeah ur true the guythat told me that had a lancer with a turbo and stuff so he was all about big gains insted of working ur way up the ladder

Ive heard up to 11 or 12 HP for just intake and exhaust

A intake and a exhaust are a good start for hp than work your way up to more. Thats what I started with in my sxt got to have something before my srt turbo swaping which I will change the intake to a injen and leave the srt exhaust .

Wow 50% drivetrain loss! What, are you filling your ATX with WD-40 or what? He he he j/k. Anyway, the MOST extra HP you will ever see at the crank from an intake is about 5. The most you will see from exhaust is about 4... that's a total of9 at the crank between the two... expect7 1/2hp to make it to the wheels if you drive a stick, 6 1/2 or 7 if you have an automatic. Remember to reset your computer after you install mods too.
