When u replace the whole gauge cluster with a junk yard one what happens with the mileage? Also The one i want to use is out of a SXT and I have SE. The only reason I got the junk yard one is because its white was has a tac

 

The mileage is stored in the cluster so make sure you make note of your original mileage for records and what not. Theres no way the average person can have the mileage transferred over...if a cluster malfunctioned the dealership would send the cluster away and have a new one reprogrammed. So unless you got a guy at the dealership thats willing to help you out, you dont have much of a choice.
