I've never heard of any DIY method of switching the mileage...people have attemped to swap the displays and the memory but to no avail. The only way I know of is to ship it of to the compnay that originally programs all the clusters for DCx.

If you're lucky they'll do it. But I wouldn't count on it. Even if they do you'll have leave your car sit til you get it back. Which would be a LONG time probably. Woot.

There are companies that can reprogram the milage for you but they may not deal with end customers. We just had one done at the dealership for and IC replacement.

All I know is that I wish there was a company that would do it, they would make a killing. Oh and if you're worried about your car sitting, just tell them to put 1000 more miles than your at and when you get there switch 'em then. Which brings me to my next question is do you have any info on how to get intouch with "some companies" so I might actually have a chance at getting mine reprogramed.

As a side note, dodge is kinda dumb for not having a simple way to do this at the dealership, they should just just the connection which they use to run diagnostics on your car.

Actually it's just kinda pointless(trying to prevent odometer fraud) b/c when I went up to the dealership and asked if they could do it they gave that reason. I said sarcasticly to them "ok, I'll just swap my new cluster in and then replace it with my stock one with low mileage if I go to sell the car, sound good?, cool, sounds good to me to" Then I just walked out. I was pretty frustrated at the time lol.
