i had the srt rear section for a while but it just got to loud, especialy on long trips. I hust put the r/t exhaust on and i like it alot.

 

Thats when a glasspack muffler is in need.

 

I tried a similar experiment with my '04 SXT (with no muffler at first) and holy momma... I bet every cop within 2 miles heard me start my car and rev it... WAYYYY too loud and raspy! It sounded like an Indy car on crystal meth.Anyway I shoved a Flowmaster 30-series on there, and although it's definitely not quiet, it's not killing loud either... not to mention it's got a nice bass-like rumble to it, unlike many of the ricer higher-pitched fart-can sounds I hear.

I have had my glasspack on for a little over a year now and wouldnever get rid of my custom exhaust . Least it tamed her down enough not to bug the cops!

 

i got a sxt, and am looking for the same set up... thanks for the videos!! no i know its gonna sound goos, and I convinced the wife with the video!

 

I like how it sounds but it might sound like crap because you just have the catback. But mine is temporary until I get my kit.
