okay i removed the tps. idle dropped downto about 1000rpm. soon as a placed the tps back on it idled back to 4000rpm, so i am figuring it is a bad tps. the problem is where to get one of these other that the dealer?
its your TPS, its confusing the computer into thinking that its idleing when its accually stuck at 4000 RPM positioning the throttle at that. You can always get one out of a junkyard for 10-20 bucks, if you go to a auto store your gonna pay at least 60-100 bucks. You could always get one out of a wrecked car, chances are, because the car is new, you would get a good one.
