Changing a battery....
Get a #10 deep socket. Disconnect the battery terminals. Negative first... just dont let it hit anything metal. then pull the old battery out. set the new one in. Connect the negative terminal, then the positive terminal. and BAM your done!!!
Oh one more thing, since you have it off you might wat to grab a wire brush and clean the terminal clamps just to make sure they are good and clean!!

^ ^Also, on mine the battery is "bolted" down to the tray, and I have the battery warmer which you have to disconnect also...there is a bolt behind the battery (14mm i think?) that you loosen which will make the bracket less tense thats holding the battery in place, then you just pull the battery up and out.
It’s also a good idea to coat the battery terminals (after cleaning) with a dielectric grease, it seals out oxygen and acid residue, thus preventing corrosion. It’s available at most auto supply stores. A good substitute is Vaseline.
Ah the reason for negative first is if you do hit something metal you don't hurt anything. Once the Negative is off then if you hit something with the wrench NO BIG DEAL!!!

The battery warmer does a few things. One, it helps protect the battery from high temperatures under the hood. Second, it helps "warm" the battery slightly because a cold battery has a higher internal resistance as opposed to a warm battery. Third, the battery temp sensor thats plugged into the back of the warmer is used to monitor the battery temperature by the PCM so it can adjust voltage, battery charging rate, etc...
