I'm helping my roommate with his car and he hasn't changed his wires in a minute, as well as the plugs. I was wonderin what is the resistance value of the spark plug wires so I can check them. He is throwing P0301, and I haven't had a chance to go look at it yet and I know that is the cylinder 1 misfire code. I am just tryin to get as much info before I go there and start playin with it. 2280-7290 Ω is the spec for the 2.0L motor spark plug wires.

 

Go get Nappa wires. They're surprisingly good quaility for the price.

 

I had the exact same code...cylinder 1 misfire.... and the car was running rough.

got the standard-stock plugs and lifetime wires at Auto Zone and it has been purring like a kitten ever since! (I think total cost was under 30 bucks.)
