Hello everyone, i was wondering if anyone has had to replace their fuel pumpassembly? I cant get a straight answer to whats wrong, I've taken it to like 3 different places. I got a diagnostic saying that I needed to replace my entire engine, but it was from pep boys, and in an earlier forum, was told it could be BS. I figured I could take it to another shop and see what they say, but Iwas just wondering on what the price might be. The symptoms my car has are loss of power and fuel economy. It takes about 15-20 seconds to get to 50mph, and the car struggles to get up to speed. Once at the speed though, I can maintain pretty well. Thanks for the help, Kevin

 

it could be that. switching the fuel pump isnt really that hard to do
