Default Question about Seats

Ok guys, I need more leg room in my neon, and I have an idea about how to get it. I am thinking that I could remove my drivers seat from the rails allowing me to access the rails. I want to then drill new holes for the boltsas far back on the rails as possible. I would then have more leg room. The only thing is that it sounds great in theory, but I dont know if it would work. Does anyone know if this would work or not, or has anyone attempted this? Thank you, Kevin

I'm 6'1" as well, i dont know ifI have longer legs or what. It really isnt too bad around town, but I have a seven hour drive to my home town, and my knees hurt from being bent the whole time. That seems odd, if your 6'1" and not all the way back...I dont know why I have less room...and no I dont have a gangsta lean, or those ten inch wire wheels.

I'm 6'4" and I have enough room. Granted I do have the seat back as far as it will go, I can also drive pretty comfy with it not all the way back. And i do have long legs, I walk faster then everyone else cause of them. And well...I have lots of energy.

I'm 6'8" and just have the seat all the way back and leaned a little. The pit stops are good because if I go on long trips when I'm driving, I'll stop every two hours to get a drink or go to the bathroom.

That is probably my problem, I try to go as far as I can without stopping to cut down on time...next time I take a trip I will try more stops to try to save my legs. Maybe walk around for ten minutes or so. Can't affect time that much on a seven hour drive....
