have any of you changed over to a 12 grind crane or a 256hr comp cam without changing your springs. the fella has an intake and egsaust only.but hes lookin to take the quick and inexpensive way out.

You'll need to get either Magnum valve springs or valve springs that Crane or Comp sells to go with that cam. The Magnum springs arent that expensive anyways, and the Crane titanium springs would be overkill for such a mild cam.

I put the titanium retainers on but that's extra safe. Retainers aren't necessary for the 12. U certainly need stiffer valve springs.
