Hello,
I am having trouble changing my head light bulbs, I followed the intructions in the owners manual but its not working the way it said. How do I get the head light assembly out after unscrewing the two bolts?

 

you have to take off the bolts going across the top of the bumper. its an 8mm bolt then when you have the 2 bolts off the headlight have someone pull back the bumper(dont worry it wont break) and then wiggle it out.

 

and those 2 bolts are longer than hell.

 

yea but theres not much thread i actually just took off some headlights yesterday on my friends srt to replace his fogs

 

Yeah...and those bolts are pretty weak. I broke the head off one of mine. Btw...I hate taking the headlights out of my car, its such a bitch to do. Even with taking those screws out of the bumper and pulling it back.

 

are u changing the bulb or the whole headlight

 

Well I don't know about you...but the drivers side is pretty hard to do if you have the stock air box in there. So unless you have a cai you pretty much have to take it out.

yea changing the bulbs are a bitch because you can't really do it without taking the headlight out..and those screws are really long, not much thread but you have to pull it through two different threads... i thought it was going to be easy, but you also have to be careful b/c wiggling out the headlight you can scratch the paint.. (i did a little that's why i'm telling you) lucky for me, it was right before my bumper was replaced...
