Default interior lights

so last night i bought 20 led lights to out inside my car. i want them in the ac vents and floor board. for those of you who has done this i was wondering how many you put in each vent to light it up enough. and what did you use for the power source......the headlights? i just wanna do this right the first time and not have wires and bulbs showing like rice. thanks

well in my opinion thats super rice, but id put one in a vent and use something that you dont use often as the power for it, unless you are using a switch. if thats the case put it on the headlight if its only gonna b on a night or cig lighter or wipers for all day

just a little heads up...

I know, alot of the stuff I try to post here and ask opinions on usually always gets a "rice" comment, but it's just personel preference....keep in mind I am married to a Filipina and have aton of Filipino friends, and yes..we have a rice cooker that's on pretty much 24/7..[sm=bustedsign.gif]

but to the point, I noticed that my local Meijers store has the accents lighting like LEDs and neon and strobes marked way down, maybe just cuz I'm in a snow-type state or area...example...single LEDs, like 4 of them for around 3 to 5 bucks...headlight strobes 6 dollars, ....they are marked 50%off but when u scan tem, they come up even lower

i would just wire them on a switch. so you can have them on with the car off, and turn them off whendriving.

only took 1LEDper vent, The switch is a small push switch which came with the long tubed neons.
one thing i like about my setup is that it takes less then10 mins to remove the neons and wires, without leaving holes in the interior.
