I want to keep it auto because I'm not the best stick driver. If anything I might try to get an auto stick tranny because I think I've seen them in some PT crusiers. If I had a second car that was auto, I would make my neon a stick in a heartbeat.

+1...unless of course your building a 10 second SRT-4...

But yeah, the 41TE that comes in the PT Cruiser is a 4-speed automatic with Autostick...you could also just use your tranny and install a RMVB s you could manual shift.

Its letting out the clutch that is my problem. I'm going to try the autostick and have a custom center console.

and JET performance module.

Any feedback and ideas to help make my car better (performance and appearance) would be greatly appreciated!!
Well you can get rid of that, because it does absolutely nothing for your car. As for more things to do, just look at the "2nd Gen FAQ and Performance Thread" for almost all the info you'll need for future bolt-ons and mods as far as performance goes.

actually to be extremely honest with you i did seea pretty nice difference after installing the jet chip. its not a drastic life altering change but my car has a lil more pick up enough to make me satisified anyway, i'm not trying to break any speed records anyway. as for my deck, it is pretty good and sounds great. i did not purchase it at a walmart. (sorry to dissappoint)but you all are entitled to your own opinion and i don'tmind any negativity, as i am happy with my car so far, but thanks for your suggestions and comments they aregreatly appreciated
