hopefully. it doesnt want to work with me though. sometimes it starts good, sometimes no. i get my fuel table tuned good, then i drive it later and im running rich as *****. i dont get it
are you messing with timing at all? and have you logged everything/ can you log everything? b/c what i think you should try is to tune it lean, then log it and see where it goes wrong.... but my guess is the PCM thinks "oh snap! wheres my fuel!? GIVE ME MORE!!!" you know like the cookie monster.... cept its the fuel monster or something.... honestly if your gonna run MS, i'd say just go 100% MS and get rid of the stupid neon PCM that is useless to the world....... but w/e its all good. anyways good luck, and no offence but you have totally talked me out of getting MS for my neon... lol
haha im running stock spark, but that shouldnt be the problem. the help forums are good and all, but most of this stuff is different for each kind of car. ill get it eventually, and once i do, it will be a lot easier for everyone to start it.
day 11 (5-12-07)- starting really good. tuned mostly full fuel table woohoo. still leans out at a really low rpm when i just start to accelerate, but that cant be hard to fix, ill have to look at it tomorrow maybe. now i need to look at the stupid stuff like pulling out fuel when i am decelerating, so it doesnt got to 10:1 when i take my foot off the gas.
good lord.....and good luck.....we need you more than you know ( i need you to do this) more than you know lol.....you speak of this "autotune" lol...is that where you get it going and it eventually tunes itself a little but you need to help it?? lol i hope the turbo process doesnt make the ms any more difficult
yea once most of the basic settings are in, you set up autotune, and set a a/f you want it to be, and let it tune itself. just go out driving under all different conditions ( WOT, half throttle stuff like that ) at different rpms.
