Default P1685

This code is hella bugging me.

I'm getting:

P 1685
P 0442
P 0455

I've looked up all these codes...but I have no idea how to fix any of them. I took off the gas cap and tightened it but i'm clueless as to the others.

Can anyone help me?

I'd say bring it in to get it looked at.

i got thesecond onethe other day.... its supposed to be a small leak in the evap system... just check your gas cap to make sure its tight. disconnect the battery and recconect it in a few minutes. 1685 is invalid skim key or something like that. p0455 is a large evap leak.

P1685 Smart key immobilizer module has received an invalid key
P0442 Evaporative emission control system lead detected (small leak)
P0455 Evaporative emission control system lead detected (gross leak)

P1685 do you have another transponder key on the same key chain? It may be reading the wrong one.

As for the other two codes check all the hoses connected to the fuel vent canister located under the vehicle near the fuel tank. A bad fuel cap may also cause this. Reset the codes and see if they come back.
