i think dodge design was going into the more box type cars which gives more of an agressive look. And the Neon was slick and smooth and rounded out. You can tell by the caliber how its designed like a box. So hopefully they do bring it back.

 

I agree with 71RoadRunner 100%...they will never bring back the Neon name, that would be like Ford bringing back the Escort, or Chevy bringing back the Cavalier or Prism, theres just not enough in the name to warrant a resurrection. They will however (or damn well better), make a 4-door (and hopefully a 2-door coupe) with some new "better" name...the Caliber was supposed to be the Neons "repalcement"...but I would never consider buying one (something I can say for A LOT of people my age, an older that I know). They made a huge mistake by not offering it in a 4-door sedan or 2-door coupe variant (think Ford Focus, Honda Civic, Mazda 3, etc...), but they'll learn their lesson...hopefully.

 

damn lol some one brought my post back up. Wellit doesnt really matter i dont think id get another neon lol like lowslow neon,and clean sxt said id be driving some thing different...maybe an evo, sti,or civic si lol hey a guy can dream cant he?

 

Yeah the first ones had a bad history and I think that contributed to the neon's demise. They probaly went with the caliber[:'(]because thats the new fad. But hey if we're dreaming, I'll take my Viper, Murcialago and 745 Li.
