when the neon comes back.
I just saw the commercail for the new dodge avenger with the AWD and some other goodies and i started wonder if dodge is ever gonna bring the neon back. I think they will but it will probly be like 5 years from now or when ppl realize how gay the caliper is. What do u think their gona change or enhance when they bring it back out? I say their prolly gona have the DOHC 2.4l as standard. The SRT-4 is prolly gona be a helluva lot more powerful. I dunno what theyd do with theexterior hopefully they dont a "v dub" and completly redifine the look. what are yours thought on this?
the day it comes out i will buy it.... i went to look at the caliber when it was released and the manager said ending the neon was the dumbist thing dodge has done in a long time! I still dont get why they stoped it. But oh well now they will bring it back and it will be even better!!!
By the time it comes back I will have a helluva lot better paying job then I do now. So at that point I will probably be looking at much nicer cars. I have the neon for the #1 reason that it is cheap. Then I really started to like it.
Of course the Neons will be called something else then. By the way, how are their sales on the Caliper? Hopefully they are doing bad. I wouldn't even take the Caliper SRT version.

i hate the caliber, and if they do bring back the neon, i hope the body style stays kinda the same, sleek and smooth.....maybe alittle more agressive front than the stock 03 and up....i hope they do come back, but who knows, only time will tell...and depending on what they look like, i would buy another one, for sure............
The Neon name will probably never come back. They generally only bring back the names of extremely popular cars or ones that may not have been popular, but that had good names. The Charger and Challenger were both popular and had great names and images to go along with them. The Avenger is a great name and it looked good, but it didn't have much popularity. The Neon was a great seller due to it's pricing, but the name and the image associated with it is fairly poor. It's kinda like the Omni/Horizon (entry level Neon), they have their fans and made versions like the GLH (similar to the Neon R/T and ACR) and GLHS (similar to the SRT-4) which dominated with their performance, but they just don't have what it takes to make a come back.
I use to hate the Neons and everything about them, it wasn't until they made a better looking version (1st gen. R/T) that also had great performance, that I started to like them. My stepbrother was the exact same way, he couldn't stand them until I had my '99 R/T and he got to see and know how well they perform and that they do look pretty good. I wish I still had my R/T, but it had to go so I could get my SRT-4, and said stepbrother currently owns a deskunked blue '99 R/T.
I'm suprised they haven't brought back the Stealth name yet, it had all the right stuff for a come back, but then again it probably will sometime soon.
