i really like the front bumper on this car which is also a 2000 dodge neon like what i have: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2456228 From the comments in their guestbook it seems like it's just a bumper from an srt model? does anyone know of any kits that look similar to that? i don't want one that's low to the ground and all the nice, "simple" ones i've seen all seem to be for 03 models and up. there must be hope for the 2000 neons!! i really don't want to have to go to a junk yard to find a srt bumper either so don't suggest that pls lol

 

Yeah thats just a stock 03-05 SRT-4 bumper...but it doest fit properly, theres a nice gap in between the headlihts and the bumper (which is very visible in those pictures)...if you want it to fit properly you'll need 03-05 headlights and if you want to keep the fog lights you'll need an SRT-4 washer fluid bottle. It looks like he did some modifications to the upper portion of th bumper as well along the "nostrils"...

 

aside from that gap though, i think he dida nice job of getting it to fit im impressed

 

Yeah it doesnt look too bad at all...not as nice as the original SRT-4 concept...but pretty close...

darn why can't they just make nice simple body kits that look like that for the 00 neon!

04 mo neon- at least yours came with the nice front bumber to begin with :-p

 

I'm not trying to be mean, that is just not for me i guess i really dont like the turn signals in the 00-02. The only reason i dont like that conversion on the srt bumper is b/c is makes the car appear to have the front end smashed down b/c of the headlights and signals. I just notice things like that from being in a design school. I would suggest you do a si lip on your model it looks badass i am even thinking about something like that on my next neon that I buy.


note: I edited out the some pieces in paint ( bottom supports on bottom opening, turn signals, chrysler)
I just think I might try something like this with a srt4 swap as a daily driver but those are pretty future plans, but anyway either a lip or srt-4 front with 03+ lights is my suggestion
