I would still get the 03-05 turbo kit to be on the safe side . Thats what Im lookin for and found a few in the past on ebay for around 2 grand to 2500 grand shipped. Everything you need and brand new.

What won't pass emissions? Hahn or the megasquirt?

Also, I think I ask this before but I know I never got a full answer. If you bought a hahn kit(stage 1 or 2) that matches your application. Can you install that on a completely stock car and drive without any harm being done? I know there are some things that people have recommended but I just want to make sure.

with ms you can't pass immisions because you throw about 16 different codes with it
with hahn kit you can make it pass but it depends on your state and how strict they are

yeah you can run the turbo on stock car but your clutch willgo real fast

ok thanks. The big problem is that the 03-05 kit is so expensive! I may get a stage 1 00-02 kit and get an srt-4 intercooler. What is so bad about the rrfpr?

with the rrfpr the ngc sees that youare adding feul and it pulls it too get back too stioch this makes it very hard too tune and not really a safe setup
but with 02 cars the car go in too open loop when at wot so the ecu does not check if the feul mixture is correct

That was a few months ago and I got my 1st gen hahn stage2 turbo kit on there almost 2 yrs ago. Most hahn turbos are purely meant for an automatic and yes you can put it in a completely stock neon but I put many more mods like a nice intake and bigger tb and upgraded plugs and wires but it comes with everything you need for a complete turbo at least mine did . Im still lookin around ebay and other forums for one for my auto 04 sxt and no luck just yet. Just keep in eye out in ebay if your lucky .

too bad the 1st gen kits wouldnt work on your cars....i just sold a hahn stage 2 kit with a fmic for about $500 on ebay.....

if you lived out this way then you could probally get the hahn kit a whole lot cheaper since a guy in my town installs theturbo kits on all of bill hahns race and show cars.....if you were to look at most of the cars on the hahn website, those cars are all from my town, and since hahn is only located about 20 minuites from my house, you could probally stop in there and get a decent deal on a kit
